Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) are professionals who have the knowledge and skills appropriate for dealing with the transportation and security of hazardous materials/dangerous goods using the following regulations:
- UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods — Model Regulation,
- International Civil Aviation Organization’s Technical Instructions (ICAO TI), and
- International Maritime Organization’s Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code)
Within these regulations, the candidates will need to demonstrate expertise in the following Knowledge Domains:
- National and International Regulatory Standards
- Interrelationships between the Regulatory Standards
- Management of Transportation
- Handling of Cargo
- Management of Documentation
- Emergency Management
- Security
