Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP)

Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) are professionals who have the knowledge and skills appropriate for dealing with the transportation and security of hazardous materials/dangerous goods using the following regulations:

  1. UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods — Model Regulation,
  2. International Civil Aviation Organization’s Technical Instructions (ICAO TI), and
  3. International Maritime Organization’s Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code)

Within these regulations, the candidates will need to demonstrate expertise in the following Knowledge Domains:

  • National and International Regulatory Standards
  • Interrelationships between the Regulatory Standards
  • Management of Transportation
  • Handling of Cargo
  • Management of Documentation
  • Emergency Management
  • Security
