At the Dangerous Goods Trainers Association, Inc. (DGTA), respecting the privacy and security of your Personal Information is very important to us. We also understand the inherent privacy risks associated with the Internet.

We gather two types of information from users who visit our website:

There are instances where the DGTA requests personal Information from site visitors who are accessing a service, such as membership registration, training resources or training programs. Persons who supply us with this personal information on-line may be contacted by telephone or may receive periodic mailings or email from us with information regarding new products and services or upcoming events. The DGTA does not collect personal information unless you choose to provide such information. - Information obtained from the user’s browser
Browser provided information is used to improve the content of our web site, to customize the content and/or layout of our site for each individual visitor, to notify viewers about updates to our web site, and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
Methods we use
DGTA analyzes user traffic patterns, such as page views and user navigation, throughout the site to allow us to improve our web site and your web experience. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors to our web site, but we may collect data on general types of users based on domain name or browser type. This information is obtained directly from the user’s web browser identification information. We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.
Opt-out policy
Visitors may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by sending us e-mail at info@dgta.org.
Corrections and updates
Upon request we offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in their Personal Information. Visitors can have this information corrected by sending us e-mail at the above address.
